What is the Progressive Longevity Program?
The Progressive Longevity Program is a Sport and Exercise Medicine specialist-led preventative medical service designed to help patients measure, understand, and optimise their long-term health.
It provides a structured, physician-led roadmap across metabolic, cardiovascular, and physical health domains,
combining Sport and Exercise Medicine expertise to remove barriers to Exercise, with a team-based approach including advanced testing, exercise physiology, dietetics, and longitudinal review. The focus is on personalised medical oversight, interpretation, and follow-up, rather than one-off testing, screening or standalone wellness services.
Most importantly, it does not replace the oversight or importance of your General Practitioner, nor other health professionals involved in your care.
Who is this program for?
This program is suitable for adults who want an evidence-based, structured approach to improving long-term health, physical function, and disease prevention.
You do not need to be an athlete or currently exercising. The program is appropriate for people at all stages, including those returning to exercise, managing chronic conditions, or seeking a clearer understanding of their health risks.
How does the program run over time?
Patients typically move through three phases:
Initial Assessment (approximately 0–6 weeks)
Specialist consultation, blood testing, and relevant assessments to establish baseline health risks and priorities. Allied health input may be introduced during this phase. The total estimated cost of the initial phase is approximately $2600
Implementation (approximately months 3–6)
Exercise and nutrition strategies are implemented, with ongoing coaching and support. Specialist review may occur if injuries or medical issues affect progress.
Longitudinal Review (around 6 and 12 months)
Repeat testing and refinement of the plan, with coordination back to your GP and other specialists where appropriate.
The exact structure is individualised.
