Dr David Jefferies

Our Progressive Registrar

David Jefferies is a Senior Registrar specializing in Sports and Exercise Medicine, currently completing his specialist training with the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians. He has passed his final examinations. A GP is not required to consult Dr Jefferies.

  • Medical Degree: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Bristol.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Physiology, University of Bristol.
  • Postgraduate Training: Completed in London, UK.
  • Master’s Degree: Sports, Exercise, and Health from University College London.
  • Emergency Medicine: Worked at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney.

  • Musculoskeletal Injuries: Diagnosis and management of conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendon pain, back pain, and limb pain.
  • Sports-Related Concussion: Special interest in the management and research of concussion in athletes.
  • Ultrasound-Guided Procedures: Offers in-clinic ultrasound and a variety of image-guided injections, including corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, prolotherapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Master of Sports Medicine (MSpMed), and has been a long serving Fellow of the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (FACSP).
