How can we help your patients?

A common misconception is that sport and exercise medicine (SEM) physicians only treat elite athletes.

With 4 years of specialist training, SEM Physicians are best placed to treat any musculoskeletal or medical issue that affects a person's ability to be physically active.

A Doctor's referral is required for Specialists consulting at the clinic, including Dr Samra

No referral is required for your patient to consult the Registrar, however, a written request with background information is appreciated to assist in the best management of your patient

Common examples of conditions treated include:

  • Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity and related disorders such as Frozen Shoulder, Plantar Fasciitis, Osteoarthritis and Tendon pain
  • Stress fractures, relative energy deficiency, Sarcopenia and Osteopenia related to menopause, cancer and ageing
  • Exercise induced asthma
  • Osteoarthritis for maximal non-surgical options
  • Concussion
  • Work-related injuries
